so on Saturday, Chery and a group of us went to bring the keele students around
it was their last day in Singapore and we didn't really get to bring them around due to truckloads of assignments.
they did mention that they wanna go to sentosa.
so chery, BEING THE PRESIDENT OF OUR DMAT COUNCIL. haha
brought them around

i could only join them at night due to work D:
but luckily Disa let me off early!
so yeah, met up with grace outside the universal studio to buy the tickets.
it was a freakin long queue man!
had lunch with grace at some ramen shop. and off we went!
my virgin trip to universal studio! it was beautiful!
it reminded me of disneyland actually.
we also managed to catch the fireworks at night.
it was really beautiful, but i definitely prefer the disneyland one.
we had dirt on our limbs after all that. must be the ashes from the sky D:
we went over to clarke quay after sentosa.
awesome day out.

its kinda sad that we didnt get to spent much time with them.
I guess we were too shy... and that we were all busy with the assignment DEADLINES!

very late update on the hong kong trip!

so many events happening in my life.
ok, this is gonna be a long post.
first of all, let me start with my hongkong trip!
it was a one week study trip from 13 to the 19 of july
with my favourite people from dmat!!
get to see lots of cool stuffs like film music production, home recording studios
thats tommy wai's home recording studio.
it was really cool. he designed the studio himself and all the equipment were awesome!

Not forgetting Disneyland!
had lotsa fun taking pictures/ watching the shows and the rides!
but the highlights were definitely the beautiful fireworks!
was feeling really nostalgic when they played all those classic disney music!

in a nut shell, the trip was awesome
had a serious bonding session with my girls.
there were tears and laughter.

HAPPY EARTH DAY!
most of us wear green school to school today :D
there were more actually but we only took with those in the morning class.

participated in the GO GREEN! percussion competition.
and surprisingly, we got 3rd place!
we only came out with the piece the day before and rehearsed once before the performance.
oh yeah, we performed in front of the year ones.
i think they were having a midi class with michael spicer.
oh yeah,
a big thank you to michael spicer as well.
he kinda volunteered us to participate and provided us with the materials.
i doubt he will see this, but THANK YOU! :D

Have been so tired ever since school started!
stayed back in school till 6 or later almost everyday!

cant wait for the weekends, i've no work too.

Day Four in Taipei! Since we didnt went to taipei 101 on new year's eve,

we decided to go the next day!

the hotel receptionist said that the weather was quite good

so we should be able to see nice sceneries outside.

(it had been raining there! colddddd!)
free shutter bus there! the frequency was kind slow thou :/

haha the bus was decorated so beautifully!

although christmas is over the decor were still there and they used recycled materials! (Y)
cute! ^^,
the left was super fast! we reached the 89th level in like..... 50 secs!
beautiful eh?

nothing much to say here. basically, it was just sight seeing, both indoor and outdoor.

mom and sis bought many souvenirs there.

but i didnt get any cuz it was too expensive there :/

after 101, we went 五份鋪 for shopping.

its excatly like bugis street!

but i didnt get to buy many things there

this post is all about countdown to 2010!

was actually thinking of going to taipei 101 to watch the concert and countdown. but it was too crowded. so we went to this ferris wheel a shopping mall. was hoping to catch the fireworks in the ferris wheel. hehe

there was this guy proposing to his girlfriend on new year's eve. OMG so sweet right!!!

i think the couple was on the ferris wheel when the friends prepare the crops.

I WANT MY BF TO PROPOSE TO ME LIKE THAT IN THE FUTURE. lol

everyone was trying to get into the ferris wheel at 1145 so that we can be on top at 12am to watch the ferris wheel! in the end, we got into the capsule at around 11.58pm D: but still we get to see some fireworks...

HAPPY 2010! Didnt get to catch the fireworks on top. at least we were mid way. haha still beautiful :D

trip back to the hotel was really fast!

i love the way taiwanese board the train.

they really queue up and let the passengers in the train alight first.

unlike typical singapore aunties who will squeeze their way regardless if anyone's coming out.

the trip back was fast cuz the train were operating 24 hours on new year's eve!

basically. today is spent shopping and eating again.

haha. we went to the salon to 做頭髮. spent like 3 hours there. lol

did a lil bit of shopping and we went to shilin night market!!

but here i am blogging comfortably in the hotel.

So we reached Taipei around 1.50pm

took a long bus ride to the hotel.

We're living at East Dragon Hotel, located in Xi Men Ding!

first thing we did.

you cant blame us. 6 women and all we needed was shopping

so bascially, day one is all about food in taiwan! :D

we ate mee sua! i'm not a big fan of mee sua. so i tot it was alright.

but since there's a long queue, it must be good! haha

guess what i saw when we were shopping? NET! ITS FREAKIN 3 LEVELS!

AND I THINK IT IS A BUILDING BY ITS OWN! hahahah!

unglam. hehe. but the oyster omelette [au jian] is REALLY GOOD.

so anyways, we got hungry after all the shopping and sat down for light dinner [cuz we plan to go to the night market!] the food was YUMMY AND CHEAP! esp au jian!
FROZEN YOGURT! i was not expecting to see frozen yogurt there. i had green tea flavored yogurt with topping of chocolate chip and cookie dough. DAMN NICE PLSSSSS! AND ITS ONLY NT$55 [SGD$2.50] it made me happy the whole night even thou it was freezing. haha <3

went plaza singapura after stock checking. awesome performance by simon on the electone.

i love alvamar the most ! :D
walked around plaza sing with claire, junqi and glenn. walked the entire top level of plaza sing.

saw many scary chucky and saw dolls. was quite freaked out >.<

many miniatures anime we on display too! not a big fan of animes but some looked pretty cute!

watched johann and his band perform @ ben and jerry's, cathay.

its a great place to chill. i'm gonna hang out there often! thats when i have the money.

today, i'm gonna update about school.

this week was a blast!

esp yesterday. haha

had keys test at 8am

next test at 3.30pm, so we went to Jurong Point for one for one swensens! :D

since it starts at 11am, sandy and i went to put our bags down at miao's place.

school has been okay for me.

i guess i'm finally use to poly life.

thou i still prefer secondary school days.

went for band prac yesterday.

we maybe having concert at the end of the year.

lucky batch this year. we didnt have a concert since like 2002 or something.

oh yeah, we had a little communication problem when we were on the train.
i thought we were going orchard and they thought we were going to tamp.
and i was like,
"i tot we were going orchard!"
"i tot you said tamp?"
haha. so we ended up in tamp.
cuz they both were wearing shorts -.-
LOL
nevertheless, we had fun and all.
dun forget next meet up in may, june, july, august.........
